What inspired the creation of this site?
I was an over-the-road truck driver, away for weeks at a time, and quickly realized how much time I was spending away from what mattered most. I began recording videos for the people I love, but they were only stored on my computer. After a powerful dream and years of hard work, this platform was created to preserve those messages and moments. I hope people are truly blessed by it.
How often can I post new content?
Currently, you can post as many Loveviews as you’d like, with up to 10 minutes per video. Subscription and storage plans are in development. Once launched, limits may apply, though a freemium option with one video per week is planned.
Do I have to send the videos to other people?
No, you can create videos just for yourself. There are countless ways to use the platform, such as sending messages to your future self, sharing recipes, promises, motivation, or timeless wisdom. Visit our YouTube channel for inspiration.
Is there a way to subscribe for updates?
We’ve implemented a notification system that sends reminders based on when a creator schedules a video for the future. The closer the delivery time gets, the more frequent the reminders. You’ll also receive system notifications.
Is the app easy to use or are there tutorials?
After the fourth major revision, the app has been simplified significantly. With just two or three clicks, you can record or upload a video. Tutorials are available online, and the app and website are designed to feel very similar.
How long are the videos stored for?
Unless there is an extreme event beyond control, your videos are stored using available server technology. We are also developing upgraded plans to ensure videos are backed up across multiple servers, with long-term preservation options of up to 50 years.
